Tourniquet

Debuting in 1990, Tourniquet has been one of the more well-known and popular Christian thrash bands for some time, blending mid-paced power-laced intense thrash metal with thought-provoking and positive yet not preachy lyrics. In later years well-known metal players including former Megadeth guitarists Marty Friedman and Chris Poland and vocalist extraordinaire Ripper Owens, made guest appearances, bolstering the band's credibility. The passing of sole remaining founding member Ted Kirkpatrick in August may signal the end of the band, as they were down to a duo by that time.
