Yattering

More death metal from Poland, Yattering's third album, Genocide, is a roller coaster of brutal riffs and vocals but also an above-average sense of technicality, with some twisted rhythms and tempo changes. At times it can all be a bit much, and that is the bane of technical death metal: keeping the technicality in check and realizing that a song is more than just a blur of disjointed riffing. Admittedly, this style is not a BNR favorite, but for fans of eccentric, yet still brutal death metal, Yattering is well recommended.
