Widow

Despite the fact that traditional 80's/NWOBHM metal hasn't been fashionable in the States for years, there are still several bands that serve to relive that long lost era, and Widow is one such band. Iron Maiden is the clear influence here, with the classic twin harmonized guitars and the rambling bass lines, though the vocals take a different approach, alternating between a fairly clean mid-range and a harsh snarl (though on their new On Fire album a female singer has taken over the lead vocals). There's absolutely nothing contemporary nor original about Widow, and while they come across a shade amateurish at times (the album covers are one example of this), they're clearly having a good time doing this, and fans who long for the good old days of the early 80's metal scene might want to check this band out.
