While Heaven Wept

Virginia's While Heaven Wept has been lumbering along for a couple of decades now, churning out ponderous, classic, majestic doom metal ever since their first full-length album, 1998's Sorrow Of The Angels. Originally inspired by the usual suspects such as Candlemass and Solitude Aeturnus, they've owned the style for years and rank among the best among American doom bands.
