Vendetta

Vendetta is a German thrash band who released two rather enjoyable, if not revolutionary, basic bang-your-head thrash albums in 1987 and 1988 that owed much to very early Metallica in style. They got some decent press and fan support at the time but they were done by 1990. The bassist put together a new version of the band in 2002 and since then has released three albums in the new millennium.
