Testament

Originally known as Legacy (at that time featuring future Exodus vocalist Steve Souza), Testament is one of the founding fathers of the so-called Bay Area thrash movement of the mid-eighties (see also Heathen, Vio-lence, Forbidden, Death Angel, and others), and unlike most of their former contemporaries who have fallen by the wayside, they have continued to release solid thrash albums and maintain a sizeable and loyal fan base, as evidenced by their Top Ten poll showings below. Also impressive is the list of bands featuring former and current members, also as seen below. The original lineup came back together in early 2005 and have played several live shows, as well as releasing a live album entitled Live In London.
