T-Ride
T-Ride was one of those bands who were just different enough to
attract critical acclaim and a small following, and thus fail to
gain real acceptance.
Described by some as a metallized version of Queen (which, due to
some of their vocal harmonies, wasn't that far off), they clearly
were doing their own thing while still staying within the hard
rock genre.
The one album failed to make a major impact and the band soon
disappeared, though drummer Eric Valentine later went on to
be a successful record producer.
