Thee Plague Of Gentlemen
Arguably one of Belgium's heaviest bands ever, Thee Plague Of
Gentlemen dealt in ultra-slow, sludgy doom metal during their
somewhat chaotic seven-year existance between 1999 and 2006.
They seemed to be on the upswing with the release of what turned
out to be their only full-length album in
Primula Pestis in 2005,
but a year later Steve MacMillan got into legal troubles and the
band folded.
Some of the members later formed a somewhat similar band called
Serpentcult.
