Rising to power in the early nineties (at a time where it seemed all the best death metal bands had names ending in "tion" (Incantation, Benediction, Mortification, etc.), Suffocation continues to deliver quality material as their career nears the 20-year mark. From hyperspeed blast beats to growly vocals to intense and twisted riffing, they embody New York brutal death metal.
