Secrets Of The Moon

Founded in 1995, Germany's Secrets Of The Moon carved out a 25+ year career, becoming one of the more well-known and influential bands hailing from a country not particularly known for black metal. As heard on their 2006 mid-career album Antithesis, their style was prime modern black metal, drawing on some familiar influences (at times, recent Satyricon or Isa-era Enslaved can be heard), though their later albums drifted away from black metal. They decided to disband in early 2022, planning a final festival appearance in the summer.
