Power Quest

Power Quest is one of a relatively small number of British power metal bands (another is DragonForce, with whom PQ founder Steve Williams and bassist Steve Scott played in that band's early days), formed in 2001 and having two releases to date. The band plays a typical symphonic power metal style, in the mold of Labyrinth and the like, with frequent melodic/poppy forays such as the almost Journey-esque "Edge Of Time" from their latest Neverworld album. Power metal fans know the drill by now -- there's very little that's innovative or unique about Power Quest, but they have a knack for catchy melodic power metal tunes, and fans of that genre might find something of interest here.
