Renounce is an solid doomdeath album by this young, promising Portuguese group. The songs are sprawling and emotive, a reminiscent of bands such as My Dying Bride (naturally) as well as newer similar groups such as Swallow The Sun, with perhaps a dash of mid-period Katatonia thrown in as well.
