Necrot

Necrot formed in Oakland in 2011 and no-frills, somewhat old-school death metal is their game, as heard on their 2017 debut Blood Offerings. Death metal will always be a crowded genre, but these guys are better than most at delivering pummelling riffs while sticking to a tried-and-true formula.

Recent album: Lifeless Birth, released on April 12, 2024.
