Mortuary Drape

Mortuary Drape has been knocking around since the mid-eighties, recording sporadically over the years with their most productive era being the late 90's and early 2000's. They are often labelled as a death/black metal band, but those are minor influences at best. Rather, the core sound here is 80's-influenced semi-thrashy dark metal, with deathly vocals and plenty of occult/horror overtones no doubt inspired by Italian OGs such as Death SS.

Recent album: Black Mirror, released on November 3, 2023.
