Mood

The first Hungarian metal band featured on the BNR Metal Pages, Mood played mid-paced doom metal (doom metal, naturally, as doom spelled backwards is Mood!) with a slightly more uptempo feel. Though at first listen one might be tempted to label them as just another generic doom band, there's a bit more going on beneath the surface, with a bit of 70's garage-metal mentality mixed in with the more standard Cathedral-ish fare. This band would have fit in nicely on the Rise Above roster. After eight years and four albums, the band announced its breakup in December 2001, with new two bands emerging as as a result, those being Wall Of Sleep and Stereochrist.
