Mnemic

Mnemic was one of several bands that might be considered the offspring of Fear Factory and Strapping Young Lad, adopting the faintly industrial, harsh metal style often attributed to those two bands. They released five albums over the span between their formation in 1998 and their disbandment in 2014. About the name: the band themselves said it's an acronym for Mainly Neurotic Energy Modifying Instant Creation, and it's also Latin for "memory".
