Impureza

First and foremost, Impureza have made a name for themselves by incorporating flamenco with metal. This is quite the rarity, as only Flametal comes to mind as a band that melds the two genres (and they did it from a different angle than here). Adding to the confusion is that Impureza is not Spanish as one might expect, but French, and the chosen lyrical subject matter on 2017's La Caida De Tonitiuh is Aztec mythology. So, a lot to take in, but if one gets to the heart of the matter, Impureza is essentially a slightly old-school styled death metal band. The flamenco influences sometimes are simple interludes but also are occasionally melded with the death stylings, an interesting and original effect. Even without the flamenco influences, Impureza could get by on the strength of their death metal material, but the flamenco gives them a leg up.
