Imagika

Imagika emerged in the mid 1990's and recorded steadily for 15 years on a variety of labels, garnering good reviews but never seeming to catch a break that would elevate them to the next level. Their sound was rooted in the best tradition of Bay Area thrash, reminiscient of bands like Testament, Exodus, and perhaps early Metallica, preserving the classic thrash sound without sounding stale or dated. They broke up in 2010 after seven albums, but reformed in 2018 and have since released their 8th, Only Dark Hearts Survive.
