Heaven Shall Burn

Veteran German metallers Heaven Shall Burn formed in 1996 and have reached the 20-year career mark, much of it on the Century Media label. 2013's Veto, the band's seventh full-length album, finds the guys firing on all cylinders, delvering a potent if rather typical brand of melodic death metalcore (straddling those two similar genres a bit), with plenty of pummelling riffs and forceful though one-dimensional harsh vocals.
