Galactic Cowboys

Galactice Cowboys were an interesting 90's left-field band, combining Beatles-esque vocal harmonies (reminiscient of King's X, who were friends of the Cowboys at the time) with a somewhat alternative/progressive metal base. The results were intriguing and at times a bit perplexing, but unquestionably original. They did get some decent MTV airplay from their song "If I Were A Killer", but they never really hit the big time, though they commanded a loyal following and received quite a bit of critical acclaim. They disbanded in April 2000, stating that their sixth album Let It Go would be their last and the members wished to pursue other interests. Seventeen years later, the founding quartet announced a reformation.
