Frozen Soul
Texan death metallers Frozen Soul parlayed solid reviews from their
demos to win a contract with
Century Media
Records, somewhat rare for a new death metal band in the 2020's.
The resulting debut album was 2021's
Crypt Of Ice,
which sees the band firmly in the retro death camp,
playing a competant if somewhat rote mid-paced groove-ish
death metal style that several have tagged as a
Bolt Thrower
clone.
The pieces are in place, but a bit more identity seems to be
in order here.
They released a followup in 2023 titled
Glacial Domination.
