Fifth Angel
Fifth Angel played mainstream hard rock/metal, ultimately becoming
yet another band in the "decent following but no superstardom"
category, though they did manage a major label contract for their
second album in 1989.
Notable for supplying the theme music for Howard Stern's old TV
show of several years ago, as well as launching the career of
guitarist James Byrd's solo career, who later several
albums on the
Shrapnel
label.
They did reunite for a time around 2010 but it appears they are no more.
