Electrocute
Turkish retro thrash!
That about sums up "Pirates Of Thrash",
the 2007 debut album from this young Istanbul-based band.
They've even gone so far as to release the entire album online
for free (see the myspace page for details).
The style takes its cues more from early Germanic thrash
like, maybe,
Destruction,
rather than the
Exodus
worship that several other bands have taken to in 2007, and
as such is a bit thin on originality, but it's pretty well done
for what it is.
