Dead Head

One of Holland's finest thrash bands, Dead Head have been whipping up a frenzy since their formation in 1989, with a style squarely between true retro thrash and the more modern take on the genre. Haatland, the band's 2005 release, is brutal thrash personified -- an exhausting listen, chock full of crunchy riffs, hyperactive drums, and hateful vocals. It's almost (but not quite) too much to bear, but fans of hyperspeed thrash should take note of these guys.
