Dawn

Dawn was formed in 1991 and released three demos in the early nineties before their proper recording career commenced in 1994. Their second and last album, 1997's Slaughtersun (later re-released along with several other tracks, under the same name, in 2004) is a fine Swedish black metal album in the mold of early Dissection, winning over fans and critics alike. Dormant for several years following Slaughtersun's release, the band is currently active though no new recordings have emerged.
