Die Like Gentlemen

Portland's wonderfully-titled Die Like Gentlemen have been plying their trade since 2012, but have only recently found their way to these pages, with 2023's Hard Truths displaying a sort of doomy, choppy, vaguely sludge-inspired metal, with one soundalike (musically but especially vocally) being The Lord Weird Slough Feg. The band deftly balances crushing heaviness with progressive twists and turns, good stuff indeed.
