These Spanish thrashers have been around since 1998, originally
going by the similar name Crysys before a legal forced the change
to Crisix.
Now four albums into the career as of this writing, the quintet has
finely honed their brand of hyperspeed retro-flavored thrash, with plenty
of nods to the old masters but with a few modern touches and a high
degree of intensity and tight musicianship.
As a trivia note, they won the Wacken Metal Battle in 2009 back when they
were still going by their old name.
