Clawfinger

Rap metal has never been the most popular of metal genres, derided by some and frankly just not attempted all that often. For that reason alone Clawfinger stands somewhat on their own, heightened by the fact that they hail from Sweden of all places, that country certainly not known as a rap hotbed. Inevitably bands such as Rage Against The Machine are going to be mentioned as either influences or soundalikes, which at least in the latter case is not too far off the mark. They are one of the earlier bands to play rap metal and in fact have more or less outlasted their contemporaries, still going strong after six albums spread over a dozen-odd years.
