Witchery  


Witchery was formed shortly after four members of the band Satanic Slaughter walked out on that band's founder, wishing to start a new band. With three quick releases in two years, they rapidly became one of Sweden's top thrash acts, with a style that melded both black and death influences with a sturdy modern thrash base.

Following their fourth album, Symphony For The Devil, the band appeared to rather suddenly go quiet, with very little reported activity. Finally, however, came reports (in September 2004) that the band was indeed alive and working on a new album. The album, Don't Fear The Reaper, was completed in January 2005, and was finally released over a year later on Century Media Records.
