Winterfylleth

British black metal is beginning to find itself, and this new
band is already making its mark as one of the best, on the strength
of the excellent
The Ghost Of Heritage.
Musically there are plenty of Norse-isms to be found, though lyrically
they are firmly in the Celtic/pagan camp, paying homage to their
Anglo-Saxon heritage, much like another fine Brit band,
Forefather
An occasional soundalike is
Primordial,
though these guys are a shade closer to the Norwegian style and a bit
more aggressive.
Heritage is an impressive debut album, pagan/black metal
simply done right.
