Warfare

Warfare attracted a cult following in their days with their
slightly punk-ish metal, sounding like a cross between
Tank,
Motorhead, and
Venom.
Coincidentally or not, Warfare has had ties to all three bands
in their past, with their first three albums being produced by
(respectively) Algy Ward, Lemmy, and Cronos, and several other
members of those bands guesting on albums over the years.
After several reasonably successful albums in the late eighties
the band began to meander, releasing the horror movie tribute
album
Hammer Horror followed by their re-recordings of their
own older songs (
A Crescendo Of Reflections) before fading
away in the early nineties.
