Vulture Industries

To start with, a great band name.
Vulture Industries apparently began life in 1998 as Dead Rose Garden (not
a bad name either) before switching to their present name in 2003.
The reviews of this band, pretty much one and all, tag these guys
as an
Arcturus
soundalike, and while it's unfair to dismiss them as clones,
those reviews seem to have it right.
The focus here is adventurous, busy, avant-garde black metal,
with theatrical clean vocals similar to what Garm (now with
Ulver)
was doing back in his Arcturus days circa 1997's
La Masquerade Infernale.
Again, these guys do have their own style and labelling them as copycats
would do them a disservice -- besides, there are few bands able to pull
off this style effectively.
