Viking Skull
Viking Skull originated as a side project for
Raging Speedhorn,
featuring RS's guitar tech Roddy Stone,
their merchandise man Waldie,
and (originally) two regular RS members completing the group.
As heard on 2005's
Born In Hell, their style is
a more straightforward heavy rock, basically a bluesy
Motorhead
crossed with some
AC/DC,
topped by Stone's raspy vocals.
An on-again, off-again band, they are currently working on a new album
tentatively scheduled for a late 2010 release.
