Vesania  

Vesania was formed by guitarist/vocalist Orion and drummer Daray, who currently play in Behemoth and Vader, respectively. But this is no side project, as the duo put together this band back in 1997, long before they joined their more well-known bands. And this is not death metal as are Behemoth and Vader, instead this Polish group comes straight from the Dimmu Borgir school of adventurous, brutal yet melodic black metal, with vocals that are often given that industrial/processed feel to add a harsh element to the sound. Their style is really more a conglomeration of any number of past and current black metal bands, leading to a sound that doesn't sound like any one band but yet is still quite familiar to those into this genre. Not quite top of the heap, but a solid band nonetheless.
