Underlord

Underlord hails from somewhere in Canada and have turned
to the mid-eighties underground metal scene for inspiration.
Musically,
Rise Of The Ancient Kings is nothing more than
Hellhammer/
Bathory
worship,
with simplistic arrangements, a rather dim production,
and generic Quorthon/Cronos-styled vocals from one, er,
Damien Hellfiend.
There's practically no originality here, and ultimately
this isn't a very memorable album or band.
