Trepalium  

Technical, jumpy, complex, yet brutal death metal from France. It’s pretty much the same basic formula throughout, though “Sick Boogie Murder” wins some points for its rather loose, funky death-groove (!) and some nice sax work (really, the song couldn’t be more appropriately titled). There’s a lot to take in here, and amidst the frenzy there’s clear potential shining through, though their appeal outside the tech death crowd is limited.
