Speedealer formed in 1994, originally as REO Speedealer. With a name like that, everyone knew it would only be a matter of time before someone from the 70's rock band REO Speedwagon would come to protest their choice of name. And sure enough they did (in fact, the Speedealer guys welcomed it), and so they became just Speedealer. Their discography is a bit muddled, full of re-releases and other confusions (there seems to be little sense in releasing two different albums, both self-titled (Leatherwolf, anyone?)), and apparently their early lineups are equally confusing. Their sound is a hodgepodge of punk, Southern rawk, hardcore, and Motorhead, a potent mix to be sure.
