A typical band story here: band builds a local following (in this case, the Tampa area), releases an independent album, gains some momentum, signs with a metal indie label, releases an album there, doesn't generate a lot of interest, band eventually dies quietly. If I recall, the music on Powersurge was generic traditional metal, nothing fancy, nothing bad.
