Platitude

As evidenced on
Nine (the second of three albums
thus far), Platitude is squarely in the melodic progressive
metal camp, going for a more relaxed style than some
prog bands that tend to flaunt their musicianship a bit too
much.
Everything here is in place, though really there's nothing
extraordinarly unique about this album.
As Scandinavian prog bands go, Platitude are one of the
better ones, though they could stand to branch out a bit
on future releases.
