Onslaught  


Rising from hardcore roots in the early eighties, Onslaught released three albums between 1985 and 1989, with the debut (Power From Hell) displaying hardcore tendencies that were lessened for the later two albums as they adopted a more traditional thrash style. Their third album (1989's In Search Of Sanity) featured vocalist Steve Grimmett, who had already made a name for himself in Grim Reaper but would leave soon afterward to form Lionheart. The band stuck around until 1991 when they broke up.

As of mid-2005, a largely original lineup was back together, and in the spring of 2007 they released a comeback album, Killing Peace.
