Memento Mori

With ex-Candlemass frontman Messiah Marcolin supplying the vocals, one would expect Memento Mori to have at least a passing resemblance to Candlemass, and sure enough they do, though in general Mememto Mori is somewhat more power metal and less doom. Also not surprisingly, the one non-Messiah album, La Danse Macabre, is the least doomy of their albums. As shown below, the band had many ties to other Swedish power/doom metal bands of the day.
