Lard is one of several Ministry side projects -- this one featuring Dead Kennedys vocalist Jello Biafra. Not surprisingly, The Last Temptation Of Reid isn't too far removed from mid-period Ministry, perhaps speeded up a bit. I've not heard The Power Of Lard but have read that it's not as good. The newer Pure Chewing Satisfaction retains the feel of the earlier album, unlike the more recent Ministry albums. Drummer Jeff Ward passed away a few years ago, though recorded drum tracks of his are featured on one song on PCS.
