Intruder

Tennessee has hardly been a hotbed for metal, but Intruder was
one such band, arising from the South in the mid-late 80's with
a debut release on Iron Works (
Live To Die) before signing on with
Metal Blade,
joining a stable of similarly-minded thrashers such as
Viking,
Epidemic,
Slaughter House, and others.
Intruder wasn't radically different from these or other thrash bands
of the day, but they were tight and energetic and enjoyable for
the period.
Like many other thrash bands, they faded away in the early nineties,
reforming in 2002 for a few shows and metal fests.
Their best album is probably 1991's
Psycho Savant.
