Golgotha

Spanish doomdeath (a rare combination) was the blueprint for
Golgotha (no relation to the British prog rock/metal band
Golgotha),
with relatively standard song structures and vocals that were
a shade one-dimensional even by death metal standards.
The band managed to release a few albums before disbanding in
2000.
Five years later, guitarist/founder Vicente Paya decided to
revive the group with a new lineup, eventually resulting in the release
of
New Life.
