Defender

Defender's lone release was the
City Ad Mortis
EP, released in 1987 and considered a rare
collectible to this day.
Featuring an energetic, classic 80's metal style,
the EP got good reviews and the band played live
quite a bit over the next few years, but finally
ran out of steam in 1990, calling it a day.
A compilation was released in 2001, and the EP
was re-released with bonus tracks in 2006.
As of this writing, the band is apparently back together,
intending to record a new album consisting of songs
written in the old days.
