Deliverance
One of the more prolific Christian bands in the metal world,
Deliverance spent their early days playing speed/thrash metal,
quite similar to then-labelmates
Vengeance Rising,
before moving on to a more melodic/alternative style around the
time of 1994's
River Disturbance.
Mainman Jimmy P. Brown II has taken apart and put back together
the band several times over the years, but as of late 2006 apparently
the group is once again active.
Apparently the latest effort,
As Above, So Below, is a return
to the band's earlier style.
