Hymnals Of The Lastdays is a curious album -- rooted in goth
(an ethereal feel overall, quite effective), but with touches of
death metal (occasional vocals/guitars) and doom as well, the
result being quite an original and intriguing album.
There's not a lot in terms of mainstream metal here, but I find
this album quite cool and interesting.
One of those "recommended for those looking for something different"
bands.
