The Axis Of Perdition  

These guys are closely related in spirit to Anaal Nathrakh -- not to imply that either is stealing the other's sound, but the similarities are there, the basic style for both bands being a dense, brutal, extreme brand of industrial black metal (the term "post-apocalyptic" appears on the AN page, and it seems to apply here too). An exhausting and overwhelming aural experience, at times downright frightening, obviously not aimed at the mainstream fan, but for sheer extreme intensity, it's hard to imagine anyone doing this kind of music any better.
