8 Foot Sativa
8 Foot Sativa has been a popular band in their native
New Zealand for a number of years, having formed in
1998 by high school friends Brent Fox and Gary Smith,
the latter of whom survives as the sole original member
after countless lineup changes over the years.
Their style, as evidenced on 2006's
Poison Of Ages,
is a blend of deathy thrash, hardcore, and a bit of
melodic death metal.
